The New York Police Department published images on Sunday that revealed the identities of two additional guys who are suspected of being involved in a jewelrystore robbery in Queens that occurred a week ago and a jewelry heist that injured 79-year-old woman.

Police Identify New Suspects Believed To Be Accomplices In $500,000 Jewelry Heist Captured On Horrifying Footage

The new suspects, one of whom was pictured wearing a Los Angeles Lakers sweatshirt and the other of whom was dressed entirely in black, are believed to be accomplices of the two robbers who rushed into DiamondCollect in downtown Flushing and fled with $500,000 worth of jewelry, according to the police. One of the new suspects was pictured wearing the sweatshirt.

The horrifying footage shows the moment when the cold-blooded robbers forced their way into the store, pushing past the 79-year-old customer who was desperately trying to keep them out. The witness stated:

They pointed a gun at her head and said, ‘Open the safe! Open the safe!’ But my mom didn’t know. She was totally terrified.- Witness

Turn the key in the safe! Yet, my mother was unaware of it. The shop owner, 43-year-old Eva Chen, told The Post that her customer was "very horrified" after witnessing the terrifying event in broad daylight.

Around 2:30 p.m. on the 22nd of February, Chen's daughter went to get lunch and left her in control of the store. Chen reported that her mother, Yuchi Lin, was just arriving from Taiwan for a visit at the time her daughter left her in charge of the business.

Yuchi Lin was born in 1939, making her age 79. Chen was left in charge of the shop by her daughter, who had abandoned her.

During the time that Chen was away, an unidentified person wearing an Amazon delivery jacket allegedly slipped a package under her door and left it there while she was gone. Chen made this claim to The Post.

Chen, whose family is "close friends" with Mayor Eric Adams, claims that the man then hid on a nearby flight of stairs with an accomplice while waiting for the older citizen who was unaware of the situation to come out and get it.

Chen is a friend of Chen's family. Chen described her family's relationship with Mayor Eric Adams as being one of "close friendship."

According to Chen, his mother did not know that the alleged deliveryman was still working in the region when he made his statement.

She waited 3 to 4 minutes — she thought the guy left already. So she opened the door to pick up the parcel, but the guy ran into her right away and then screamed to another guy hiding downstairs to come up.- Chen

When the robbers were finally inside, they demanded that the elderly woman open the safe for them, but she was unable to.

During the course of the violent theft, the authorities claim that the gem thieves "punched, kicked and struck a 79-year-old female employee in the head with a handgun."

A representative for the police department stated that she was unable to offer any specifics regarding the manner in which the two new suspects are believed to have been involved.
