Timothee Chalamet Wore Candy-Inspired Cartier Necklace On 'Wonka' Premiere

In Willy Wonka's crazy, magical, and brightly colored world, anything is possible. One of these is a beautiful custom-made Timothee Chalamet candy-inspired Cartier necklacewith almost a thousand gemstones. One that Timothée Chalamet wore for the first time on the red carpet at the world premiere of his new movie Wonka.

Chalamet wore a bright pink velvet Tom Ford suit to the London opening of Wonka on November 28. He paired it with a candy-themed Cartier necklace. Marie-Laure Cérède, the creative head of jewelryand watches at Cartier, met with Chalamet months before the premiere. He is an ambassador for the brand.

"Come with me, and you'll be in a world of pure imagination!" In Willy Wonka's wonderful, crazy world, anything is possible. One thing she does is make a necklace out of hundreds of jewels that sparkle and look like a too-good-to-be-true candy-coated treat.

Timothée Chalamet wore a candy necklace that Cartier made just for him while walking the red carpet at the world premiere of Willy Wonka at London's Royal Festival Hall.

Voguesays that the bright collar has 964 emeralds, rubellites, pink tourmalines, and blue opals. The beauty was made just for him and took 450 hours to make. Chalamet told the newspaper the day before the viewing. The star told the source:

It's insane, right? “It’s beyond anything I could have dreamt.- Timothee Chalamet

The way each onyx, opal, tourmaline, and emerald is set by hand gives it a pointillism-like look. The paved creation not only pays tribute to the spirit of the movie, but it also fits the star perfectly. In addition, it sits right on the skin, making the pink, green, and blue valuable stones shine like candy.

The diamond's bright pink, green, and milky blue stones definitely fit Chalamet's happy brief. They also make the piece stand out from the more subdued jewelry that men usually wear on the red carpet (a quietly expensive watch here, a vintagebrooch there). However, Timothée has never been interested in "rules" about what men and women should or shouldn't wear. He says with a strong voice when I ask if he thinks of metal in the same way he thinks of fashion in general:

Absolutely. Maybe it’s having gone to a performing arts high school in New York, or maybe it’s just the way my mom raised me. I’ve always just worn what fits.- Timothee Chalamet

Timothée Chalamet posed happily in front of a huge Christmas tree and a wall that looked like a Wonka chocolate bar while wearing a stylish pink-purple velvet Tom Ford suit. The suit was a nod to the purple jacket that Gene Wilder wore as the title character in the 1971 movie adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Chalamet has been a Cartier House spokeswoman since 2021. On the red carpet, she wears unique pieces from the famous jewelry brand with outfits that stand out. Chalamet wore a black pinstripe suit to a photocall on Monday before the opening of Willy Wonka. He wore a pendant necklace and metal ringsfrom a jeweler.

Chalamet plays a young Willy Wonka in the movie Wonka, which opens on Friday, December 15. Wonka is about an eccentric chocolatier who opens up a chocolate shop.

At the London premiere of the Willy Wonka movie, Timothée Chalamet wore a necklace by Cartier with many different gemstones that he helped create.

It looks like Timothée Chalamet is having a great time right now. Along with playing the latest version of Willy Wonka, one of the most famous Roald Dahl characters to be turned into a movie, he recently helped make a one-of-a-kind jewel that he wore to the London premiere of Willy Wonka.

A handmade Cartier necklace sparkled around his neck. It was made of white goldand almost 1,000 different colored gemstones, such as emeralds with juicy colors, pink tourmalines, rubellites with rosy hues, and blue opals that looked like milk. 450 hours of work were put into making it by Cartier's workers.
