The capsule collection seamlessly merges Steven Harrington's iconic universe of characters, featuring Mello and abundant palm trees, crafted in a luxurious fusion of sterling silverand gold. Harrington expressed to Hypeart that upon visiting the LA-based store, the collaboration became an instant realization, stating, "I instantly knew that we had to make something together."

Notable pieces in the collection include a unique bracelet uniting a dog head, palm tree, yin yang symbol, and a carving of the artist's signature. Another standout is the palm tree bracelet, adorned with a series of precious diamonds.

Emphasizing the artisanal touch, as is customary with all GOOD ART HLYWD products, the entire collection is meticulously handmade. The highly anticipated release is scheduled for next Thursday, December 28th, at 9 a.m. PT. Given the limited quantities, interested buyers are required to direct message both the artist and the retailer to inquire about the purchase process.

Steven Harrington Profile

Los Angeles-based artist Steven Harrington is set to debut his inaugural solo exhibition at Seoul's Amorepacific Museum of Art (APMA) in March 2024. Originally established in 1979 to showcase the collection of founder Seo Seong-hwan, APMA has since expanded to encompass works spanning antiquity to contemporary figures, with a current exhibition featuring the late American conceptual artist Lawrence Weiner.

While Harrington has gained global recognition for his psychedelic pop aesthetic, his artistic evolution over the past 15 years is evident in more introspective pieces that address pressing issues like the climate crisis. Notably, he has also introduced his canine alter ego, Mello, into his creative repertoire. Despite these shifts, the inherent optimism characterizing his work - reflected in vibrant color-fields and jovial characters - remains a constant thread across his diverse output, including sculptures, murals, paintings, and drawings since his early days at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.

Expressing gratitude to those who have supported his artistic journey, Harrington dedicated the upcoming exhibition, titled after himself, to "anyone with a dream." Scheduled to open on March 7 and conclude on July 14, 2024, the showcase promises to be a vibrant exploration of Harrington's artistic spectrum.
