When gems fall off your rings, you're as rich as most people. You're Post Malone when the words just come out of your mouth. Post Malone dropped diamonddown the drainin Rome. During an interview with Esquire, the man from Syracuse talked about how he ate the chicken bites and one of his expensive teeth fell out of his mouth. He was worried that he would have to go into the "Roman sewers" to get the diamond out.

There's normal sadness and then there's diamonds-in-the-sewers sadness. One minute, you're innocently biting into a piece of uniformly made chicken. The next, you're realizing that you may have just poured more than $600,000 down the drain.

Post Malone told Dave Holmes about this problem with his items in a recent Esquire cover story, which you can read about here. Posty said that he was in Rome at the time, eating a Chicken McNugget, when he thought for a short time that he had lost his $600,000 diamond fang. Malone said of the moment of presumed terror:

I had the left one in my hand, and I dropped it right into the sinkhole. I’m like, ‘Fuck, man, I’m going to have to go into the ancient Roman sewers.’- Post Malone

Post didn't have to go down into the bowels of Rome himself to get the gem, but he did come up with a pretty clever way to do it. He came up with a way to get the diamond out of the drain using tools and one of those plastic tripods that come in a box of pizza. Shortly after that, he had a Roman doctor put the jewel back into his tooth where it belonged, next to Post's other dental diamond.

Malone's 2022 record is called Twelve-Carat Toothache to honor the event. It includes hits like "One Right Now" with The Weeknd and "I Like You (A Happier Song)" with Doja Cat. Up next? "Everybody comes up to me like, ‘When are you doing a country album?'"he thinks. Malone almost worked with Bob Dylan as well. Whatever it is, I'm sure those 12-carat diamonds will make those hits go platinum.

Just the diamonds in Post's mouth are worth $1.2 million, so it's clear that he likes flashy decorations. He has also worn a Rolex Daytona Rainbow and a Richard Mille with a big skull on it in the past. Plus, he has owned some very rare cars, like a one-of-one Bugatti Chiron and a one-of-three McLaren Senna XP.

Malone recently talked about his weight loss in another place. During an interview with The Joe Rogan Experience, he said that he used to be 240 pounds. But Posty said that the fat just fell off after he stopped drinking pop.

Soda is so bad. It’s so bad, but it’s so good. If I had a great show, and you know what, I’m feeling a little bit naughty, I’m gonna have myself a Coke on ice.- Post Malone

Before this talk, in April 2023, Post Malone went on Instagram to talk about his healthpath. He was honest about what he ate and how he stood up against drugs.

I wanted to say that I’m not doing drugs, I've had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and, I'd suppose, performance on stage. I’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. I guess dad life kicked in and I decided to kick soda, and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel.- Post Malone

Next up is smokes and brews, but I like to consider myself a patient man… lol! I just wanted to say hi, and hopefully I’ll be posting more on here, my brain is in a super dope place, and I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time. If you’re having a hard time or need some love, I can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep fucking crushing it.- Post Malone

Final Words

Post Malone might be one of the nicest musicians working today. He is a very big star who has won a lot of awards. But it doesn't look like his fame has made him arrogant. Instead, he seems happy to get his songs out to as many people as possible and spend a lot of moneyon things that make him happy.

His jeweled teeth, for example, are worth more than $1 million. Each of his fangs, which were all blinged out, cost $600,000. Malone told in a recent interview that he almost lost one of his goldfangs in Rome. When it happened, he was standing over a sink eating chicken nuggets.
