During Geneva's annual Watches & Wonders trade show in March, Patek Philippe was the talk of the town because Patek Philippe unveils a trio of new innovative complications in Tokyo.

Patek Philippe Steals The Show At Geneva's Watches & Wonders With Stunning New Additions
Patek has introduced a trio of new complexities for its sixth-annual Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Tokyo, which may be the most spectacular we've seen from them all year.
The exhibit's star is the new Quadruple Complication, ref. 5308P, which replaces the Triple Complication (ref. 5208) from 2011.
An aperture-based perpetual calendar, chronograph, and minute repeater were among the three eponymous complications. This time, though, Patek includes a fourth feature: a split-seconds chronograph.
The timepiece features a classic salmon dial and a one-of-a-kind 42mm platinumcasing that houses an R CHR 27 PS QI automated caliber movement. This watch, limited to only 15 pieces, is only available at the Tokyo show.
The following two watches are new interpretations of the brand's World Time watches. The first, ref. 5531R is also restricted to 15 pieces and has a minute repeater with a chime that sounds when the local time zone reaches 12 o'clock.
The enamel portrays the ancient Chuo neighborhood in central Tokyo in the center of the dial. The second World Time watch, ref. 5330G, has a purple "plum" dial and a world-first in that the selected local time zone appears at the 12 o'clock position and is synchronized with the date display.

Patek Philippe has inaugurated the grand exhibition “Watch Art” Tokyo 2023.
A red dot has been added at the 12 where the sun sign would normally be as a reference to the nation of Japan. This World Time Date, unlike the other two variants, is limited to 300 pieces.
During the Tokyo exhibition, Patek also debuted a pair of limited-edition Calatrava models. Visit the company's website to learn more about refs. 5308P, 5531R, and 5330G.
