Over the weekend at the Cannes Film Festival, the Amazon founder's partner flaunted her gorgeous engagement ring while reclining on their $500 million yacht.
Bezos, 59, dressed casually in a black shirt and blue trousers, while Sanchez flaunted her toned figure in a cropped white tank top and a low-rise beige skirt. The unmistakable diamond sparkler on her ring finger, however, was the focal point of her ensemble.
The duo was spotted at the star-studded annual film festival on Saturday, May 20, for the premiere of Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon,' alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook.
$2.5M Ring
Ajay Anand of Rare Carat told Page Sixthat the "absolute monster" ring would weigh at least 20 carats and cost over $2.5 million. The diamond is said to be a minor enhancement on the 7-to-10-carat yellow, heart-shaped diamond that the billionaire gave to his girlfriend in 2019.
The newly engaged couple was all smiles aboard the opulent yacht where they were living while in the South of France for the prestigious film festival.
Despite keeping the relationship milestone under wraps, the couple has been celebrating their engagement by touring the star-studded party circuit.
Bezos proposed to Sanchez after five years of dating, and while it's unknown when he got down on one knee, the couple has spent a lot of time at sea since his boat was finished in March.
The new vessel will reportedly include a wooden sculpture of Sanchez. The design is connected to the ship's prow and contains a necklace with the Maori symbol meaning loop or coil, Koru.
The artwork, according to Page Six, is modeled on the spiral shape of an unfurling silverfern frond, a symbol dear to their hearts.
'Celebrate And Grow'
Koru apparently symbolizes new beginnings, positive change, personal growth, and hope for the future. The vessel is reportedly worth half a billion dollars and will cost Bezos about $25 million a year just to run.
